Return & Refund Policy

At Skymart Books, customer satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

1. 14-Day Return Policy

We offer a 14-day return policy from the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition that you received it

  • Free from damage caused after delivery

  • Returned in its original packaging where possible

Proof of purchase may be required to process your return.

2. Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind about your purchase, you may return eligible items within 14 days of delivery.

To qualify:

  • Items must be unused and in resalable condition

  • Items must be returned in their original condition

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, a refund will be processed to the original payment method.

3. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please provide:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs of:

    • The item received

    • Any damage

    • The packaging

    • Shipping labels where applicable

Once reviewed and approved, we will offer one of the following:

  • A replacement item

  • A full refund

  • A partial refund where appropriate

We will cover any additional shipping costs relating to approved damaged, defective, or incorrect items.

Claims submitted more than 7 days after delivery may not be eligible for replacement or refund.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Mystery boxes

  • Clearance items

  • Products marked as final sale

  • Gift cards

This does not affect your rights regarding items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrectly supplied.

5. Condition of Returned Items

Returned items must be received in resalable condition.

Items that show signs of use, damage, writing, markings, missing components, excessive wear, or alterations made after delivery may not be eligible for a refund and may be returned to the customer.

Skymart Books reserves the right to inspect all returned items before approving a refund.

6. Refund Process

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome of your refund request.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

7. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for unwanted or change-of-mind returns.

  • Skymart Books will cover return or replacement shipping costs for approved damaged, defective, or incorrect items.

Shipping costs are non-refundable except where required by law or where an item was supplied incorrectly.

8. Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct exchanges.

If you would like a different item, please:

  1. Request a return for your original order (if eligible)

  2. Receive your refund

  3. Place a new order for the desired item

9. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before they have been processed and dispatched.

Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and will instead fall under this Return & Refund Policy.

To request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order.

10. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund after 10 business days:

  • Check your bank account again

  • Contact your credit card provider or bank, as processing times may vary

  • If you still require assistance, contact us at support@skymartbooks.com

11. How to Start a Return

To request a return, please contact:

Please include:

  • Full name

  • Order number

  • Reason for return

  • Photos (if reporting damage, defects, or incorrect items)

Once approved, we will provide return instructions and the appropriate return address.

Returns sent without prior authorisation may not be accepted.
