Overview
This six-book paperback collection gathers Cormac McCarthy's most acclaimed novels in one set, spanning his complete Border Trilogy alongside two of his most celebrated stand-alone works. Readers travel from the sun-scorched ranchlands of the American Southwest to a burned, ash-covered future, tracing McCarthy's signature blend of spare prose, moral weight, and unflinching violence. From coming-of-age drama to frontier horror and modern crime tension, this set offers a complete introduction to one of America's most influential and widely studied literary voices, ideal for new readers, longtime fans, and anyone building a serious literary fiction library.

About the Books
This collection brings together the full arc of Cormac McCarthy's most celebrated fiction. At its heart sits the Border Trilogy: All the Pretty Horses follows young cowboy John Grady Cole as he rides into Mexico seeking a life that no longer exists in Texas, a novel that won both the National Book Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award. The Crossing continues the trilogy with Billy Parham's perilous journeys across the same unforgiving borderlands, while Cities of the Plain brings the two young men together on a New Mexico ranch in the twilight of the old cowboy way of life. Preceding the trilogy chronologically in tone and setting, Blood Meridian follows a teenage drifter known only as "the kid" through a nightmarish landscape of scalp hunters and frontier violence, widely regarded as one of the most powerful American novels of the twentieth century. No Country for Old Men shifts to the modern Texas-Mexico border, where a hunter's discovery of a drug deal gone wrong sets off a relentless chase pitting him against a remorseless killer and an aging sheriff who senses the world changing beyond recognition. Finally, The Road strips McCarthy's prose to its barest, most devastating form, following a father and son walking through a desolate, post-apocalyptic America toward the coast, armed with nothing but a pistol, a cart of scavenged supplies, and each other. Together, these six novels showcase McCarthy's evolution from mythic frontier violence to intimate survival, unified by his stark landscapes, moral urgency, and unmistakable voice.
