About the Author
Terry Pratchett was a British author who sold his first story at just fifteen years old, earning enough to buy a secondhand typewriter. He worked for years as a journalist before his Discworld series made him one of the most popular and prolific fantasy authors writing in English. Pratchett wrote more than 40 Discworld novels alongside standalone works, including Good Omens, co-written with Neil Gaiman. He was appointed OBE in 1998 for services to literature and later received a knighthood. His novel The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents won the Carnegie Medal.
