About the Author
Clara Vulliamy is a British author-illustrator who studied at Chelsea School of Art, the Ruskin, and the Royal Academy. She is the daughter of celebrated author-illustrator Shirley Hughes and began creating picture books after having her own children, sometimes collaborating with her mother on earlier titles. Vulliamy has since written and illustrated numerous books for young readers, including the much-loved Dotty Detective series, known for its warm humor, diary-style storytelling, doodly illustrations, and irrepressible young heroine.
