John Gwynne is a British author and Viking re-enactor who studied and lectured at Brighton University before turning to writing fantasy full-time. Malice, his acclaimed debut novel, was published by Pan Macmillan in 2012 and went on to win the David Gemmell Morningstar Award for Best Fantasy Debut.
