Overview
This four-book paperback collection brings together Heather Morris's celebrated works of World War II historical fiction. The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Cilka's Journey, and Three Sisters form her acclaimed Auschwitz trilogy, inspired by real Holocaust survivors, while Sisters Under the Rising Sun tells the true-inspired story of women imprisoned by the Japanese in the Pacific theater. Together, these four novels explore courage, sisterhood, and resilience against unimaginable adversity, moving from occupied Poland to the Pacific. A powerful collection for readers who love character-driven historical fiction rooted in real survivor testimony and unforgettable true stories.

About the Books
Heather Morris built her career on turning real survivor testimony into deeply humane, emotionally gripping fiction, and this collection showcases four of her strongest works. The Tattooist of Auschwitz introduces Lale Sokolov, a prisoner forced to tattoo fellow inmates at Auschwitz-Birkenau, and the love story that sustained him. Cilka's Journey follows Cilka Klein from the camp to a brutal Siberian gulag, tracing her fight to survive both Nazi and Soviet cruelty. Three Sisters completes the trilogy, following Livia, Magda, and Cibi Meller, three Slovakian sisters who cling to a childhood promise to stay together through Auschwitz and beyond. Rounding out the set, Sisters Under the Rising Sun shifts to the Pacific, following English musician Norah Chambers and Australian nurse Nesta James as they endure a Japanese prisoner-of-war camp after fleeing Singapore. Each novel is grounded in extensive research and, where possible, direct interviews with survivors or their descendants, giving the fiction unusual weight and authenticity. Readers praise Morris for balancing unflinching historical detail with intimate, character-driven storytelling that never loses sight of hope, rewarding readers with unforgettable women whose determination carries them through the darkest chapters of the twentieth century. Whether read together as a set or one at a time, these four novels build a cumulative picture of ordinary people responding to extraordinary circumstances with courage, loyalty, and an unbreakable will to survive.

About the Author
Heather Morris is a native of New Zealand now living in Australia. While working at a large public hospital in Melbourne, she was introduced to an elderly gentleman who, as she put it, "might just have a story worth telling." That meeting with Holocaust survivor Lale Sokolov led to years of interviews and ultimately to The Tattooist of Auschwitz, which became a global bestseller. Morris went on to write Cilka's Journey and Three Sisters, completing a trilogy inspired by real survivors, followed by Sisters Under the Rising Sun, another true-inspired story of courage during World War II.
