About the Books
For more than four decades, the Little Miss series has been a cornerstone of early children's reading, and this complete 36-book collection gathers the entire cast of personalities in one brand-new paperback set. Roger Hargreaves created the original line as a companion to his famous Mr. Men books, giving each Little Miss character a single defining trait — bossy, sunny, shy, curious, or clumsy — and building a simple story around it that young children can follow from cover to cover. After Roger Hargreaves passed away, his son Adam Hargreaves continued the series, adding newer characters such as Little Miss Inventor while keeping the same bright, friendly art style and gentle humor that made the originals so popular. Each book in this set is short enough for a single sitting, making the collection ideal for beginning readers who are building confidence, as well as for parents and teachers who want a reliable go-to for bedtime or story time. The chunky paperback format is sized for small hands, and the consistent structure across all 36 titles helps children recognize familiar words and patterns as they move from one story to the next. Whether read in order or picked at random, this set offers an easy, low-pressure way to introduce new vocabulary, social-emotional lessons, and a lifelong love of reading, all wrapped in the colorful, instantly recognizable world of Little Miss.

About the Authors
Roger Hargreaves (1935-1988) was a British author and illustrator who created the Mr. Men and Little Miss series, beginning with Mr. Tickle in 1971. His simple, brightly colored characters, each built around a single personality trait, became a beloved staple of children's literature worldwide. After his death, his son Adam Hargreaves took over the series, illustrating and writing new titles — including several Little Miss books in this set, such as Little Miss Inventor — while preserving his father's distinctive style and warm sense of humor that has entertained generations of young readers.
