Overview
Dive deeper into Cassandra Clare's Shadowhunter world with this three-book paperback companion set. Co-written with Sarah Rees Brennan and Maureen Johnson, the collection gathers The Bane Chronicles, Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy, and Ghosts of the Shadow Market, spotlighting Magnus Bane, Simon Lewis, and the secretive Downworlder marketplace. Perfect for readers devoted to The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices, this set offers a rewarding way to revisit the wider Shadowhunter universe through shorter, episodic stories.

About the Books
This companion set collects three volumes that expand Cassandra Clare's Shadowhunter world beyond its main novel series, adding humor, heart, and extra lore to the Downworld. The Bane Chronicles gathers eleven short stories tracing the centuries-long life of Magnus Bane, the flamboyant High Warlock whose wit, romances, and hidden vulnerabilities unfold through comic-strip illustrations and standalone adventures spanning history and continents. Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy follows Simon Lewis, the beloved former mundane from The Mortal Instruments, as he enrolls at the reimagined Shadowhunter Academy; across ten illustrated stories, Simon wrestles with memory loss, new friendships, and who he wants to become as a Shadowhunter-in-training. Ghosts of the Shadow Market turns to the shadowy crossroads where faeries, warlocks, werewolves, and vampires strike bargains, weaving in the enduring bond between Jem Carstairs and Tessa Gray from The Infernal Devices across two centuries of interconnected tales. Each volume was originally released as its own illustrated collection before being packaged together here as a single paperback set. Longtime readers will recognize callbacks to The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices, while newcomers can use these shorter stories as an accessible entry point into Cassandra Clare's larger universe of warlocks, werewolves, Shadowhunters, and mundanes.
