Overview
The Wheel of Time Box Set 3 gathers three volumes from Robert Jordan's internationally bestselling epic fantasy saga: A Crown of Swords, The Path of Daggers, and Winter's Heart. Covering books seven through nine, this paperback set follows Rand al'Thor and his companions as the fight against the Shadow intensifies across a fractured, war-torn land. Political intrigue deepens across Andor and Tar Valon, Aes Sedai authority is tested, and the Seanchan threat grows more dangerous, making this an ideal set for readers continuing the series or revisiting these middle volumes.
About the Books
Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time is one of modern fantasy's most ambitious achievements, and this box set captures the saga at a decisive turning point. In A Crown of Swords, Rand al'Thor tightens his grip on the nations he has claimed while Egwene al'Vere, newly raised to Amyrlin Seat among the rebel Aes Sedai in Salidar, must out-maneuver rivals who underestimate her strength. Loyalties fracture, hidden agendas surface, and the cost of wielding power becomes impossible to ignore. The Path of Daggers pushes the story across continents as Rand consolidates control of Illian and beyond, even as the White Tower's authority splinters and the Seanchan invasion presses further into the mainland. Perrin, Mat, Elayne, and Nynaeve each pursue urgent personal missions that increasingly intersect with the Dragon Reborn's fate, widening the scope of the saga. Winter's Heart marks a genuine turning point: Rand attempts a dangerous and unprecedented act to cleanse the taint from saidin, gambling everything on a single desperate act of will. Around him, allies and enemies alike reposition for what comes next, while Mat's reluctant luck and Perrin's steady sense of duty ground the sweeping stakes in human terms. Together, these three novels showcase the intricate world-building, layered politics, and character-driven storytelling that have made this series a genre benchmark, propelling the overarching prophecy toward its next great phase.
